Hello, I am Jennifer Williams, LPC but I prefer to be called just Jenner. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. I have been maintained a license in good standing with the Virginia Board of Counseling since 2015. I received my Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Regent University in 2012. I have specialized training in trauma and PTSD in regards to adults, children and family. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT). I have worked in a multitude of settings and with a multitude of diagnosis. My most extensive experience is with teenagers but I have worked with adults for over 2 years. The majority of my clients are those struggling with trauma but I also work with anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues on a regular basis.

I believe that healing begins with relationship which guides my person centered approach. You are not a diagnosis. You are a whole individual who deserves to receive treatment based on your unique background and personality. I tailor my approach to your specific needs. My roll as your therapist is to walk alongside you on your journey to healing because the truth is that you are the master of your own journey.
