Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State, with 29 years of experience. I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, the last 13 years with people experiencing chronic disease, specifically cancer. My passion is helping individuals and families cope with emotional issues that prevent them from experiencing a satisfying life despite their disease or problems, assist them in experiencing a quality of life, living fully with their illness, and support them in end of life. My approach is solution-focused and strength-based, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as my base. I've done a great deal of therapy with people experiencing trauma when they learn of their diagnosis and learning to move forward.

I draw heavily on Mindfulness techniques for stress reduction, and believe in assisting people in finding their inner strengths to learn coping skills. My style is to listen and learn about my clients in order to guide them towards solutions to their difficulties. I am extremely compassionate and have a very easy going style. I have night and weekend hours available for your convenience.
