About
I have over 14 years of mental health experience, including 8 years of direct counseling in areas such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, grief and loss, adjustment issues, mood disorders, and relationship and familial issues. I graduated from Argosy University with a Masters Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling. I am best described as a very compassionate, supportive, but honest therapist. I will never shy away from respectfully addressing any unhealthy coping strategies and/or self-destructive patterns. I am a firm believer in honesty and make it a priority to always be honest with my clients. As long as my clients are willing to fully commit to the therapeutic process, including being honest with themselves as well as with me, I am equally invested. My hope is that overtime my clients will re-discover their inner strength and courage and feel self-empowered to re-write their stories.
