Jennifer Adams is passionate about partnering with her clients to aid them in living a fuller life. She specializes in working with girls and women experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders,life transitions, grief and loss, school issues, body image concerns and eating disorders. Each of these can impact relationships, which is an area of focus as well for Jennifer. Her primary theoretical approach is client-centered. Building an authentic relationship with clients is Jennifer’s top priority.

Jennifer has focused her career for the past 22 years working with girls and women. Jennifer believes in a holistic approach to her work and that true healing cannot take place by simply treating the presenting symptoms.

Jennifer attended Samford University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Psychology. She continued her study of psychology at Vanderbilt University where she earned her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling.

Jennifer is licensed in the state of Tennessee as a professional counselor, and she is a co-founder of Evolve Counseling Associates, LLC. Jennifer is a lifelong learner and believes in the power of acquiring new information to grow as a clinician. Jennifer is an Approved Clinical Supervisor and has certification as a Telemental Health Provider. In addition, she is a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
