Ms. Giarraputo developed experience in the chemical dependency unit at Mercy Medical center and furthered her clinical skill in complex behavioral health intervention at Metropolitan Hospital connecting the emergency department and behavioral health clinic. During the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic , Ms. Giarraputo provided mental health crisis intervention and support to healthcare professionals directly facing the trauma of the crisis. Ms. Giarraputo has developed her capacity to face the unknown and join with clients as they explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Ms. Giarraputo is capable to step outside her comfort zone and intervene compassionately with clients who are ready to explore their emotions and personal growth. She enjoys the opportunity to see the world from her clients’ point of view and offer reflections and support that help clients work towards emotional and mental wellbeing. Primary therapeutic approaches: Person- centered , CBT, Solution Focused therapies.
