About

My approach to therapy is attachment based psychoanalysis with a trauma focus approach. What does this mean? All humans have the basic fundamental need to be loved, be seen, and to be heard. Our beliefs, feelings, behavioral patterns, and relational dynamics are driven by these needs before we could articulate. We work to make the subconscious conscious, identify how your attachment reinforces your choices. Trauma focused does not mean you have to have a traumatic experience; rather, you experienced an event that was too complex for you to process at that time. Creating awareness will lead to creating change.
