Hello!

My name is Jenise Wilson, LPCC-S, and I am have been a counselor since 2014. I graduated with my Master's in Counseling from the University of Mary, and I have my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have worked with various populations, including children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I use Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy modalities with clients to really help the client understanding the issues they are facing and what they need to help them in the moment. I also draw from attachment theory, feminist theory, solution-focused theory, person- centered theory, and trauma theories to truly help clients the best I can. I believe the client is the true expert in the room, and I am here to help along the journey. Please note that my schedule changes from week to week; thus, I do not have all my availability on my Find A Therapist schedule. If you desire to work with me, but cannot find an open time that works for you, just shoot me a message and I will make sure that I find a time that is suitable for your schedule.
