First off, thank you for caring enough about yourself to be here today. You deserve to learn more about yourself and move towards something meaningful and fulfilling. That can take time, but you've already started today.

Maybe we can relate over some similar hobbies/interests: rock climbing, playing the Tuba (Utah Wind Symphony), Chess, Backgammon, driving scooters, domestic/international travel (have traveled to 35 countries), reading (self-help/philosophy/travel), and cooking (Asian/Indian/Italian cuisine). I have been practicing for 5 years in Salt Lake City/Farmington, Utah. I currently have a private practice in Davis and Salt Lake Counties. Clients like my accepting and non-judgmental approach to counseling. I am not afraid of a dynamic life and try to help you feel the same way. I approach treatment by helping you be mindful and aware of your thoughts/feelings, how they may hurt or help, and I stay solution-focused in helping you move towards something important. If you don't know what is important, we will talk about your values and move in a positive direction. I believe in exposure therapy and will help you try some things that seem difficult but could help you feel more confident in yourself. I am moving towards certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), specifically to help in Marriage Counseling. There are a few other things I like to discuss with clients in which I have good insight: performance anxiety (hobbies, employment, relationships), video game addiction, adjustment problems), feeling bored with life and having no idea how to find meaning, spirituality, dominate culture/religion and helping you find a good path, focus and motivation for desired achievements, and counseling regarding travel and pilgrimage.
