About

I am a licensed mental health counselor and certified clinical trauma professional in NY and have been in the field for 34 years. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations; all walks of life, ages and abilities. The majority of my experience has been with a college population providing individual counseling and crisis intervention for those struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, other mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, grief, PTSD, relationship issues and various adjustment disorders.

My counseling style is very positive,interactive, authentic and holistic. I strive to treat my clients with respect, compassion, sensitivity and transparency. I honor the fact that each person is unique, so together we will find the path to healing and wellness. My approach typically combines mindfulness, solution focused, narrative and cognitive-behavioral interventions.
