About

Aloha, my name is Jeannie and I am a licensed mental health therapist in Nebraska. I enjoy helping clients walking through life transitions. I also work with those who feel "stuck" in life and could use some help creating practical goals to move forward.

I believe healing happens in authentic relationship. This means that I strive to be fully present with my clients and work to help them feel comfortable enough to be fully present with me, as well. I recognize that the first step to a better life is often the most difficult. I help my clients with that first step and the path that follows. Together, we develop individualized strategies that allow and promote forward movement.

I completed my master's degree in counseling at Denver Seminary. I also have a bachelor's degree in religion, which makes me uniquely qualified to combine spiritual and clinical insights in a way that anyone can understand. While I specialize in trauma work, anxiety, and somatic disorders, I am also trained in Strengths Coaching. This helps me identify behavioral patterns that point to a client's "go to" responses. These point us to areas of current and potential strength and internal resources. My professional experience includes counseling and management in the field of mental health, including personal coaching, working with mild to severe mental health issues, survivors of ongoing abuse (including human trafficking), business and individual coaching, and providing trauma education to community organizations.
