About

I believe that our quality of life is impacted greatly by the quality of our relationships. The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. If you find that your relationships are suffering, you might be unconsciously holding onto faulty old beliefs about yourself. I help people develop self-awareness, healthy boundaries, and assertive communication.

I graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2011 with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. I was trained in Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I learned to listen more than I talk and help people reframe old ways of thinking. Upon graduation I started working in crisis services. For the last four years, I've worked with children, families, and individuals.

I've cultivated a systemic and attachment-based approach which focuses on the quality of relationships. I cannot “fix” your relationships, but I can help you learn how to relate to others in a healthy way if you are willing to do the work. This starts with mindfulness and self-awareness. People who are in relationships with codependency or high levels of conflict may have some unhealthy patterns to unlearn. The good news is that healthy boundaries, assertive communication, and secure attachment are all skills that can be learned, and I’m here to help.
