I strongly adhere to the following tenets as a psychotherapist. It is essential to meet my clients where they currently are in their personal journey. This is vital for the establishment of a trusting therapeutic relationship. I also believe that every individual has the ability to both to achieve a sense of agency and to discover their own way. Another core belief and integral part of the therapeutic process is the emphasis on enhancing a client's sense of hope by underscoring their future orientation. Additionally, being compassionate, direct but not directive, non-judgmental and supportive are crucial core tenets.
