About

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of experience working as a therapist and consultant. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns and issues including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, post traumatic stress, self esteem, chronic illness, compassion fatigue, school and/or career advancement, family and stress management. I also have extensive experience helping people who have experienced trauma and abuse. I have over 15 years experience supporting military members and their families and have a deep understanding of military culture.

My counseling style is warm and supportive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I have extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I believe in working collaboratively with you in a team approach to address the issues you feel you want to work on and developing and working on goals developed specific to what your wants and needs. Goals are important and I love watching people move forward and achieving the change they desire!
