I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida. I have been working in a counseling field for 13 years for a hospice providing grief counseling to individuals, groups, and families. I have also helped people managing anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, caregiver stress, end of life issues, and personal growth. As a counselor, I have been described as very calming. I prefer to utilize a person-centered approach as a therapist and draw from Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapy modalities. I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of San Diego in 2007. I have found it to be an honor to work alongside people to help them navigate difficult times, identify their strengths, learn new ways to cope, and find hope for positive change in their lives. I realize that it takes courage and strength to reach out for help when needed, and I appreciate the opportunity to work with you toward your goals.
