I am a mental health professional licensed in Alabama with ten years of experience working as a therapist and licensed clinical social worker. I have worked with individuals and families addressing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, parenting problems, as well as identity and career challenges. I have also helped many people over the years establish a stronger sense of self-esteem and life direction. I am trained in trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).

My counseling approach is strengths-based and person-centered. I believe in treating everyone with unconditional positive regard and I strongly oppose stigmatizing labels. I employ the use of realist problem-solving modalities, and will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your personalized needs.
