Welcome to Find A Therapist!

I am LCSW-R in the state of New York and have been for approximately 15 years. I graduated from the University at Albany in 2008 and have been actively involved with different aspects of social work since. I have worked in residential treatment centers with at risk youth, spent the majority of my career working with acute mental health concerns and traumatic events in a fast-paced emergency room, as well acting in the role of primary clinician on an inpatient psychiatric unit where I worked with individuals 18 years and older struggling with stress, grief, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideations, psychosis, and other different mental health struggles.

Individually, I enjoy working with adults by providing them with a warm and non bias environment. I believe that everyone should participate in psychotherapy or counseling in their lives to find their "best" self. I encourage an open ended relationship with my clients where free communication can flow. My belief is that everyone who is "stuck" can become "unstuck" with the right tools. I believe that everyone has the power within them and that if you are reading this profile, then you are where you need to be and are ready to make a positive decision on the path to increased self worth!

I use an eclectic approach that will be tailored to the individual including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Systems Theory, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I look forward to talking with you. Often times, taking the necessary steps to consider therapy is the hardest and most challenging part.
