Hello,
My name is Jean Tucker and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I've been working in the counseling field for the past 21 years. I had my own private practice for over 5 years and have worked with a very diverse group of clients. I have experience in working with clients in a wide variety of situations and issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, substance use, trauma, relationship issues, parenting and life changes . I believe in meeting clients where they are and working from a strength based, solution focused perspective to determine and work towards the goals they have for themselves.

I help clients develop the skills they need to not only to improve their current situations but to help them understand and practice them so that in the future when issues come up they know how to apply those same skills to the new situations. Working together we’ll look at how your thinking and feeling and how those thoughts and emotions are affecting your daily actives along with exploring your strengths and resources to help you make positive choices. I’m here to guide you at whatever pace you need to go. This is your journey.
