J'Briel received her Bachelors of Science at Northeastern State University in 2018. J'Briel Porter earned her Master of Counseling in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022 from Walden University. J'Briel will be offering counseling services to children, teenagers, and young adults from all walks of life. J'Briel has a passion for working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma and are looking to find a safe space to process and acquire tools to support themselves. J'Briel uses a trauma- focused and trauma-informed lens when working with clients, this allows her to support clients struggling in the present with things from the past. J'Briel works with individuals, couples, and families with believes that every individual can experience change with the guidance of a therapist through the process of change. J'Briel realizes that not every person is the same, so she utilizes a personalized approach to treatment that tailors the counseling services she provides to each person and their current needs. J'Briel has previous training in play therapy and is currently working toward certification as a registered play therapist. J'Briel is currently working toward her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision online at Walden University.
