My name is Jaymee and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. I have 4+ years of professional experience which includes crisis intervention, clinic based agency work, advocacy and working with individuals across the lifespan. I have treated individuals with a range of diagnoses and have provided individual, group, virtual telehealth and family / couples therapy. I have research interests in the areas of older adulthood, integrative mental health, holistic treatment and trauma informed practice. I also have experience creating and facilitating professional development trainings for behavioral health professionals.

I believe in getting to the route of problems to create long lasting, sustainable change. I use an eclectic approach that is matched with pure authenticity and non judgement. I am an empathetic, goal oriented, enthusiastic therapist that will hold you accountable to your goals and won’t be afraid to help you draw difficult conclusions. In therapy you can expect to learn about yourself, challenge your beliefs and have a space to process your emotions.
