As interesting of a person as I might be, within therapy you are the focus. I am here to assist you. Within sessions I support your growth, your learning, your clarity. Sessions often include some humor, humility (because we are all learning and growing when it comes to life), perspective taking and practicing being okay while sorting things out. There are many times for me to listen, and other times for me to challenge your thinking, ask you clarifying questions and times for me to cheer your successes (because there are many of those too). I can be pretty direct when needed, but I do so with a respectful, supportive and caring manner. I take a strengths-based approach to build upon what is working for you and help to create forward momentum. As long as the weather is decent many of our video sessions I will be sitting outside, as that is where I like being.
