If you have found your way to my profile that means there is something in your life that you would like help with. This can be a major issue or a minor one. At this point in your life you are in a place where you can use some support. You would like someone to hear you. To truly hear you, without judgement. I am here to help you find a sol-tion. The only thing missing is U.
Your struggle is real. Right now what you need is someone that you can open up to. A person that makes you feel safe and supported. Someone that helps you to think out loud and find your own answers. Challenges you, while at the same time helps you to feel empowered. Assists you in asking the right questions.
Together we can begin the process of helping you become the happy, joyous and free person you were meant to be. I specialize in using a holistic, mindfulness based approach. Drawing from my many years experience as a yoga, meditation and mindfulness instructor. I am trained in CBT, substance abuse, trauma informed care, person centered therapy as well as several other modalities. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to anxiety, addiction, anger management, coping with stress, coping skills, depression, relationship issues, self esteem and substance abuse.
I have over 7 years experience as a therapist and nearly 20 years experience in the field. I have a worn many hats including working at a hospital in the behavioral health unit, as a substance abuse counselor, running homeless shelters and in the education system.
