About

Hello, and thank you for your time and interest! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a United States Marine Corps OIF Veteran. I have clinical experience from all settings of psychological treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, assessment, substance-use, and intensive-group clinics.

During my military and mental health career, I have dedicated my life to helping others. The Marines taught me that nothing was more important than my brothers and sisters in uniform, and that a person or a group is only as strong as its weakest element. My education and professional career taught me how to help others help themselves to overcome their struggles and weaknesses. Together, these things shaped my professional goal: to help as many people as I can in the most quick and efficient way possible.

My clinical style draws heavily from Client-Centered, Cognitive, Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness therapies. I base most of my practice and interventions on the functioning of the human nervous system, biofeedback, and neurofeedback. This makes my style applicable to most situations. I try to be a teacher and a guide for my clients. No two of my interventions are alike, as they are tailored to your wants and needs, and most are all based upon the biology and neuroanatomy of the human body. I prefer to hit the ground running with therapy, and I aim to help my clients starting from the first session.

I enjoy working with male clients that feel they have none to talk, trust, or ask for help. I have been a successful counselor many other clients, but my open and direct style tends to hash better with males, first responders, or veterans.

I have a year of experience in assessing and treating neurological, developmental, and degenerative disorders. I am fascinated by the brain and nervous system, and I have helped many clients or families of those suffering from TBI, ADHD, epilepsy, and many other diagnoses.

I facilitate an online mental health support group stream. This is at no cost, and the aim of the group and project is to provide more affordable access to mental health interventions and create a positive place within the internet.

Thanks again for your interest and effort! I am here to help in any way I can. Please, feel free to contact me for scheduling or general questions.
