About

I grew up outside of Seattle, WA and moved to Denver in the Fall of 2018. I have experience in areas including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, crisis management, and issues related to gender identity and sexual orientation. I've worked as an ER crisis worker and a substance abuse counselor, focusing on residential care for high risk men with extensive histories of homelessness and incarceration.  Currently, I am back in school working on my PhD in social work with a focus on queer wellbeing and suicide prevention.

As a counselor, I believe that people have the ability to reach their goals, and I work with them to access their available skills and resources to move forward. I view therapy as a partnership where we work together to create a treatment plan, set realistic goals, and celebrate progress.
