Jarom was born and raised in Ventura, California. He completed his undergrad from the University of Utah in Sociology. While working on his undergrad, Jarom gained a love for working with people having volunteered for a rape crisis team and crisis line in Utah County. This experience encouraged him to further his academic career at the University of Phoenix in Mental Health Counseling and later obtain his license as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Jarom brings a wealth of experience in addressing suicidal ideation, substance dependency, trauma-informed care, couples and family counseling, as well as providing support to individuals of all ages dealing with depression and anxiety. His expertise spans a wide range of mental health concerns, making him a highly versatile and empathetic therapist. Jarom’s philosophy within treatment stems from one of his favorite quotes by Nelson Mandela, “May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.”
