I am a licensed professional counselor in Colorado with special expertise in addiction issues and mind/body concerns. I have over 25 years’ experience as a psychotherapist, working with hundreds of people with a variety of issues including depression and anxiety, adjustment issues, chronic and terminal illness, grief and loss, and relationship concerns, to name but a few. My therapeutic focus is primarily eclectic, though I use and integrate many different modalities – CBT, narrative, existential therapy, motivational interviewing – to help clients understand themselves and make the life changes that they’re looking for. I myself have 47 years of experience with meditation which I am happy to share with anyone who might be interested.
I feel that the best results in therapy come from when we work together to discover what needs focused attention and how it is best addressed to ease your struggle. My belief is that dis-comfort and dis-ease can be products of imbalance in one's life. Each individual has a personal responsibility to help create and assist in maintaining their own mental health rather than turning the responsibility of their healing over to an outside "expert." I welcome working with anyone who is seriously interested in finding the balance in his/her life. Together, we can work on whatever issues you feel need addressing.
