Janet Bosworth is a female licensed marriage and family therapist offering services to adults. She has a variety of clinical interests; however, she specializes in LGBT issues, anxiety disorders, grief counseling and coping skills. In her practice, Janet’s philosophy of care is to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to talk about their feelings and problems. She believes the primary goal of therapy is to help clients move forward in a positive direction in their lives. Janet’s interest in mental and behavioral health care began in middle school when her mother introduced her to a series of articles in the Christian Science Monitor regarding the treatment of minors in the California juvenile system. In her free time, Janet enjoys arts and crafts. She loves old movies and quiet time in nature.
