Hello and welcome! My name is Janet and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) and NCC (National Certified Counselor) licensed in Tennessee. I have 6 years of clinical experience providing counseling in a variety of settings, with the last 3 years as a unit therapist in an Intensive Outpatient Program.

I have worked with adults at various stages of their life that includes those struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, codependency issues, Bipolar Disorder, difficulty managing stress, PTSD. abandonment and rejection, and life transitions. I can be of assistance in developing a better understanding of these symptoms while helping you to find strategies to diminish them.

My counseling style is warm and accepting. I will tailor a treatment plan with you that will meet your specific needs. My approaches include cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and ACT (acceptance and commitment) therapy. I believe in being respectful and compassionate and will work with you to develop a treatment plan to meet your specific needs.

My goal is to help each person work through the concerns that they are facing and to empower them to make healthy choices.
