I am a licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania. I have several years of experience in the field of mental health with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
I serve adults, individuals and couples. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor in the state of Delaware, as well as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
I believe in having a safe and nonjudgmental place to talk and process life's difficulties is the foundation for healing. My experience includes working with various issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, relationship challenges, self-esteem and trauma. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings including private practice, inpatient, outpatient mental health/substance abuse and residential settings, and correctional facilities. I utilize an eclectic approach including Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Solution Focused, Motivational interviewing, and Reality therapy.
My theory is, “Individuals who have the motivation to improve and courage to seek growth through vulnerability and hard work, can accomplish all the goals they desire.”
I believe in working in partnership with my client and utilizing a holistic, strength-based, person-centered approach, to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals.
