Hello, my name is Janea (pronounced Ja-nae) Charles, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living in Houston, Texas. A Louisiana native, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Child and Family Studies and moved on to Louisiana State University and obtained my Masters’s degree in Social Work. I am currently working toward pursuing an additional Masters’ degree in Business Administration through Southern University, also located in Louisiana. Throughout my professional career, I have worked with various ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with my personal “sweet spot” being adults 18 and up. I appreciate flexible and understanding clients, as I do my best to be adaptable to their individual needs.
