Hi! My name is Jana! I'm happy you're here and finding the right therapist for you! I will tell you a little about myself, so you can decide if we may be a good fit. If so, let's rock n' roll! I'm a LISW-S and enjoy working with several different kinds of people. My specialties include people with an intellectual disability or related condition, borderline personality disorder, people involved with family court, behavioral issues, narcissism and sociopathy, domestic and psychological violence, and challenging divorces. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I love to get to know the people I'm working with, so I can assist them the best I can. I take pride in my ability to encourage people to be their authentic selves, which often opens up many conversations that need to occur. I'm problem-focused and often take a very behavioral approach; I like to help you break down the issues so we can attempt to get to the bottom of what's actually happening. My therapy sessions are conversation-led, with prompting and questions from me. I like for us to explore all sides of our topic, so I often offer alternative viewpoints, but that's me wanting to make you think!
