I am an ATR-BC and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been licensed for over five years and practiced mainly in California and via telehealth. I have experience working in schools, hospitals, outpatient/ inpatient, residential crisis programs, and fieldwork with many different cultures, seeing adults, children, and families struggling with, mental illness, grief and loss, medical severe/ psychiatric issues, trauma, death/dying, dementia/ Alzheimer’s, personality disorders, and a variety of other topics. I formally studied looking through the lens of the theoretical object relations model, and I also like to incorporate a Humanistic/ Existential approach with all my clients. My belief is to work together in finding what supports you best. My specialties include using art modalities with others, such as music and animal-assisted therapy, with clients to help decrease anxiety, manage pain, and anger, raise self-esteem, increase self-awareness and mindfulness, and create a safe and healthy environment where clients can express themselves.
