I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and am nationally certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc (NCC) to provide mental health counseling. I graduated from the University of Phoenix in Arizona receiving my B.S. in Psychology. I obtained my M.A. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in Arizona. I have extensive training and experience in treating mood and personality disorders. I have over 6 years of experience working with mood disorders, trauma, and schizophrenia, using strengths-based and client-centered approaches.

I am a cognitive behavioral therapist and I use psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioral therapies to provide a client-centered approach and design the client’s therapy around the individual or family. I see new and returning clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. I work with couples and families to help strengthen their relationships and hone parenting skills. I also offer career and stress management counseling. I believe that our thinking guides our behaviors and our feelings and that a sense of control in one’s own life is essential to maintaining positive thinking. When we gain that sense of control we gain control over our thoughts and therefore our behaviors and feelings.
