Hello, I am an Independent Licensed Social Worker in Ohio with over 15 years of experience in mental health working with people from different backgrounds who struggle with a wide range of challenges. I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, major mental illness, relationship issues, and substance abuse and addiction. My counseling style is client centered and I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach emphasizes strength -based and solution -focused ideas to tailor a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Originally from Cincinnati, I received my Bachelors in Psychology at Miami University in Oxford and my Masters in Social Work at the University of Cincinnati in 2003. I started my social work career in community mental health. I then worked in inpatient psychiatric settings as well as Mobile Crisis crisis intervention response. I have spent the last 9 years working with the Veteran population who experience a unique range of issues.

Outside of my work as a social worker, I enjoy exercise, reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family and pets (dog Joy and cat Rosie). I try to find a work and personal life balance through whole health practices including yoga, meditation, good sleep, and nutrition.
