I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia who collaborates with clients that struggle with focus, confidence, and general contentment with life. I have over twelve years of experience with strengths-based, empowerment-focused approaches. My approach My treatment is rooted in psychodynamic theory, logotherapy, positive psychology, and existential approaches. I am passionate about increasing self-awareness, innovation, and independence. My focus My clients tend to be high achievers dealing with feeling incomplete or trying to overcome a specific problem. Often this looks like anxiety, social struggles, relationship problems, or difficulty advocating for their needs. My communication style I try to create an environment that is safe and accepting to explore your values, childhood, and perceptions of the world. I emphasize strengths and empowerment. My journey to therapy I became a therapist to help clients increase self-direction and define and pursue their goals. My clients become more intentional about living the life they want. I studied at Virginia Commonwealth University, obtaining a master's in Rehabilitation Counseling.
