About
I'm James Ellis, a LMHC in WA State specializing in working with parent-child dyads, adolescents, adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, those living with chronic illness/pain, and trauma survivors. I believe that warmth, safety, security, vulnerability, and working collaboratively are the ingredients necessary for healing and growth. I use evidence- and research-based methods including ACT, CBT-based treatments for depression and anxiety, and CPT for PTSD. My practice is also informed by attachment and psychodynamic theories. I so look forward to working with you!
