James is a graduate of St. Joseph's College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health and Human Services majoring in Counseling and Alcoholism and Addiction Counseling; Mercy College with a Master of Science in Psychology, Master of Science from Iona College in Marriage and Family Therapy. Internationally Certified Alcoholism and Drug Counselor (ICADC), and Credential Alcoholism Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) from the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services; Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Individual and Group Psychotherapist, a Doctoral Candidate in Medical Health, and Humanities at Drew University.
James is the founder of NuSeasons Marriage and Family Therapy, a private practice located in Brooklyn, New York.
