About

I am a seasoned professional counselor with more than 26 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I developed a very successful private practice working with those populations, and in addition developed a divorce coaching practice to help parents successfully navigate the difficult journey that divorce poses to families. In addition to years of counseling experience, I have 10 years of experience as a behavioral health inpatient executive in settings serving an array of treatment issues.

I am an open minded, non labeling counselor who works with compassion and empathy. I believe the key to successful counseling is the relationship that is built between the counselor and the client. I take a client centered approach with cognitive behavioral therapy leanings. I enjoy engaging with clients and work jointly toward solutions to their challenges.

It is not easy to pursue help, and I admire those who have the courage to face their life challenges. I look forward to working with you.
