About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor licensed in Colorado. I have been practicing counseling since 2014, and I have worked with a wide range of client concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and addiction issues. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma and/or emotional abuse.

My therapy approach is person-centered in style, but I utilize numerous different theoretical approaches to meet your specific needs. I use humor and attempt to have a comfortable relationship where you know that you are the expert in your own experience, but can also trust that I am an expert in the field of counseling and human behavior. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, existential, and rational-emotive therapy.

It really does take a lot of courage to make yourself vulnerable to a complete stranger in hopes of having a better life. I believe in honoring that choice and ensuring that you leave each session with new insight and skills with which to tackle your challenges.
