I earned my Master of Socal Work at New York University. I have been a clinical therapist for approximately 25 years so no worries, you're in good hands! I'm so glad you reached out, I think you will find that the whole therapeutic process is so beneficial, interesting, funny at times, hard at times and extremely helpful towards progress and positive change. Any questions, do not hesitate to ask. I look forward to meeting you! BTW, I do think we need to work on expression of thoughts, feelings and emotions which are then the stepping stones to wellness. We want to extinguish the depression and anxiety for example by utilizing different modalities and exercises including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy among other coping skills.
