About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Life Coach and Veteran of the Marine Corps with 10 years of Social work and Counseling experience. Currently living in Kansas but originally from New Jersey, I have worked with a wide range of concerns to include stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, parenting, anger management, coping with life transitions, divorce and relationship issues to name a few.

My counseling style is first and foremost non-judgmental and empathetic with warmth and respect while being personable and down to earth. I believe in being honest but not harsh. I use a regular conversation style because I consider us equals in this partnership. I do not believe in manipulation.

My approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, Holistic, Client-Centered, Trauma-Focused and Solution Focused counseling. I focus on healing the inner child along with aiding you with the appropriate coping skills that work best for you. I am a strong advocate for energy work and imagery to heal the trauma. This is not a structured therapy style.
Most importantly, as long as you are ready to do the work and confront your fears, the power lies within you to solve your life's toughest problems.

I am merely a guide to promote healing and balance by honoring the mind, body and spirit.
