About

Jahmela Williams is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Trauma Professional, and a Certified Mindfulness Life Coach. She has over 15 years of experience in providing education and counseling services to her community. Jahmela’s expertise is focused on helping individuals successfully navigate through barriers that limit holistic well-being. She is intentional about serving the needs of people/persons of color and intersectionality communities. One of the reasons for Jahmela’s success is her gift for forming positive, lasting connections with individuals. In all her years of service, she has never grown tired of helping individuals to better know themselves, their value, and live their purpose. This perspective is woven into the very fabric of her being as a black woman. It is Jahmela's hope to be a safe space for extended community to learn tools in practicing radical self-care as a form of resistance and self-preservation. As a body of color, she is very much aware of how it feels to live in a society where she must demand “the right to matter”. Because of this, the mindset that she brings to therapeutic healing is one of radical acceptance, kindness, and non-judgment to her community and its intersectionality.
