I am a licensed professional counselor located in Tennessee. My ideal client is someone who is struggling with issues related to anxiety and/or depression and is seeking to improve their mental health. I really enjoy working with LGBTQI individuals. Of course, clients across the gender identity and sexuality spectrums are welcome, including those who are cisgender and heterosexual. I also especially enjoy working with young adults. I enjoy helping clients through life transitions such as starting college and exploring career options. My therapy style is integrative, but I do rely heavily on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) methods. It is important to me that you are not expected to "spill your guts" to a complete stranger, so my first goal of therapy is just for us to get to know each other, so that we aren't strangers anymore. My style of therapy is informed by my own personal experiences with mental health throughout my life. I know how difficult it can be to ask for help.
