Hello and welcome! My name is Jacqui and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Thanatologist. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work and have been privileged to work in this field for the past 9 years.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and eclectic employing Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, and Gestalt therapy modalities . I recognize that you are the expert in your experience, so together we will work to explore which theoretical frameworks will best support your therapeutic goals. I aim to cultivate a safe, compassionate, and gentle space for clients to feel supported and heard while exploring areas of challenge.

The study of Thanatology enables me to accompany clients around grief and loss issues related to death or living losses. I specialize in supporting families that have lost a loved one to Substance Use Disorders. Loss changes us and we require patience, kindness, and guidance to reconnect with our transformed selves. Remember that you do not "move on" from a death or a significant loss, but you do move. Each movement is an accomplishment and a reminder that healing is feasible.

My practice includes working with individuals, couples, and families navigating grief and loss or end of life issues, life transitions, new parenthood and perinatal mood disorders, family issues, and compassion fatigue. I look forward to meeting you and working together soon.
