I am a psychotherapist working in the field for the last 5 years. I graduated from Troy University with both a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology. And I am presently attending Liberty University for my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have an excellent record of working successfully with working in diverse populations in one-on-one settings and group settings.
Many people at one point or another may have to deal with direct or indirect trauma or life stressors that can impact a person’s quality of life which they will need help with and that is where I can help to calm those fears and help you gain the necessary coping skills to help you cope I can help you if you are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, Social Anxiety Disorder, Mood Disorder, OCD, Adjustment disorder, and phobias just to name a few. Working together we will be able to explore your feelings and behaviors that are causing conflicts and look deeper into unconscious and underlying thoughts through weekly sessions.
I am an eclectic counselor I believe that no one approach can be used for all individuals, and a wide range of therapies such as Cognitive behavioral therapy, Music therapy, Art therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Play therapy, NARM somatic approach, and Culturally Sensitive therapy to name a few may be utilized during your sessions. I feel that centering treatment around your worldview, culture, and faith-spirituality, which includes both past and present needs will help you reach your goals for a brighter future.
