Welcome! My name is Jackie. I am a Licensed Mental health Counselor in the Florida with about 16 years of experience. I have worked in a variety of setting including correctional institutions, psychiatric hospitals, treatment centers, non profits, and private practice. Due to this eclectic mix, I have seen clients with concerns that include anxiety, anger, drug addiction, parenting problems, career challenges, relationship trouble, and multi cultural issues . I am also a former Victim Advocate.

I would describe my counseling style as down to earth , colorful, warm and interactive. You will always feel respected, understood, and heard. I will also challenge you though because if you are asking for help, it means you are willing to step out of your comfort zone. My therapeutic style is a mix of cognitive behavioral, person centered, and humanistic. I am not a huge fan of labels because I believe humans tend to get stuck on the stigma attached to those labels. In our time together, we will work on specific goals that we develop together. After all, you are the true expert of your life.
