Similarly to weight loss and diabetes, mental and emotional health cannot be cured, but it be maintained successfully. I am a firm believer in the Biopsychosocial model of health and wellness. All parts of our being are inter-related from biological, psychological and social perspectives. If one area is unbalanced, the others follow suit.
I achieved a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the State of Wisconsin.
I bring a trauma-informed, non-judgmental view to my clinical practice. This aspect clinically induces empathy regarding where you have been, and where you would like to be with your mental and emotional wellness. I look forward to working with you.
