About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in Florida, Oklahoma, and Tennessee, with over 10 years of experience working within the counseling field. I have experience and training focused on the treatment of a variety of mental health concerns, as well as, treating addictions. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and multiple forms of abuse. I have worked with a wide variety of young adults who have experienced multiple types of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, school/employment related issues, and relational issues. I also have experience working with families targeting parenting concerns and relational issues.

My counseling style is client centered and I approach the therapeutic relationship with an empathetic and collaborative stance. My approach is a combination of maintaining a solution focused mindset and utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques to assist individuals with making progress toward their goals. Within the therapeutic relationship, I will treat you with respect, compassion, and carry an open mindset to focus on your goals as we work together. Our therapeutic focus will be on collaboratively finding solutions to the problems you are facing during this chapter of your life and helping you reach toward your goals. We will remain mindful of your strengths and build skills in your areas of growth.
