Jackie is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her masters in Clinical and School Counseling from National Louis University. Jackie is passionate about people and has experience working with children, adolescents and families both in a school and a clinical setting. She offers a diverse approach that works for her client’s unique needs. Jackie has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and eating disorders. She uses a variety of techniques to meet the client’s needs including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and a Strengths Based Approach. Her approach to therapy is based on authenticity and relationship building. The environment she likes to create is one of openness, empathy, safety, respect and client-centeredness. During sessions, her goal is to work together as a team to help create a better relationship with yourself and the world around you, so that you can be the best and happiest version of YOU! This deep alliance of trust and shared intention will help us in our work together! Jackie has a passion for helping others, human connection and growth that happens within the clinical walls and beyond.. She was born and raised in Chicago. She enjoys staying active, being outside, spending time with family and her three dogs, Mac, Flynn and Beau.
