Hi there! My name is Jackie Parisi and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience in individual and group therapy. I graduated in 2006 with a Master in Social Work from the University at Albany, State University of New York. I’ve worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings, including but not limited to a mental health outpatient clinic, a rehabilitation hospital, school settings, and residential/home treatment settings.

I currently practice in New York, working with children, adults, and families. I have the most experience working with those struggling with depression, anxiety and stress, trauma and abuse, coping and adjustment to life changes, relationship issues, parenting, and family conflict/issues. I would describe my approach as client-centered, solution focused, and goal oriented. I combine different clinical approaches based on client needs, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-focused therapy, mindfulness therapy, hypnotherapy, existential therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
