Hello! My name is Iris Le. I am a licensed mental health counselor in Washington with over 12 years of experience. I have a Master of Arts degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, work stress, trauma, family/relationship issues, life adjustment, existential difficulties, personality disorders, codependency, chronic health conditions, and self-esteem issues. As an immigrant, I also understand the complexity around multicultural issues.
My therapy style is warm and collaborative, treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I strive to build therapeutic alliance while empowering you to make goals and changes consistent with your own internal values. I use Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat trauma since 2015. I also incorporate ideas from cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, solution-focused, dialectic-behavioral, and trauma-informed therapies. I customize treatment and approach to meet your unique and specific needs.
